Vestfrost VLS RF 2026 / WHO PQS
Combined medical refrigerator-freezers provide two separate temperature zones. Vestfrost VLS RF units are designed for +2…+8 °C vaccine storage and water-pack freezing; Evermed and Antech serve other medical and laboratory applications.

The VLS RF freezer is not a general-purpose long-term plasma or biological-sample freezer.
Monitoring under the updated WHO PQS requirements
WHO requires a basic Level 1 electronic monitoring device for vaccine refrigerators, plus an integrated Level 2/3 device or a 30-day electronic temperature logger. Vestfrost offers EMS Levels 1–3: Level 1 provides local logging and USB access; Level 2 adds a local display and alarms; Level 3 adds remote data transmission. The EMS level and sensor package must be stated in the supply specification.

Compliance note. WHO PQS is an international prequalification of a specific model and configuration for immunization programmes. It does not replace Ukrainian medical-device conformity assessment. Procurement must separately verify the current WHO record, local market documentation, calibration and the exact scope of supply.
