When should a single or triple quadrupole be selected?
LCMS-2050 adds mass information to liquid chromatography and supports molecular-mass confirmation. LCMS-8045RX and LCMS-8050RX support selective targeted LC-MS/MS analysis. Selection depends on analytes, matrix, quantification limits and throughput.
What should be specified in the supply package?
Agree LC modules, column, ion source, gases, vacuum equipment, computer and licences separately. The LCMS-2050 photo illustrates integration with Nexera LC; LC is not automatically included with the MS unit. LCMS-8050RX has standard ESI; APCI, DUIS and DPiMS are separate options. Instruments are for research use, not diagnostic procedures.
