Mobile C-arms from ANGELL, SIMAD, IMAX, GENORAY and Italray. The range contains image-intensifier and flat-panel systems with different generators and workstation layouts.
System types and applications
Image intensifiers and FPDs are different receptor technologies. All-in-one systems combine the C-arm and monitors on one base; other packages use a separate station. Choose for the required projections, workspace and imaging modes.
Configuration differences
The range adds Allengers HF59PLUS: 3.5 kW, 21×21 cm FPD, fixed anode; and SIMAD EMD I9L1 P: 4 kW, 9-inch intensifier, CineLoop and a separate station. SIMAD EMC I9M1 V and EMD F2M1 V list 15 kW; EMD F2H1 V, EMD F3H1 V and EMS F2H1 V list 25 kW. EMS F3H2 V has 32 kW and a 30×30 cm FPD; the + VEDO version includes an angiography table. All these V configurations list a rotating anode, 25 fps, DSA, Road Mapping and Pixel shift.
ANGELL ALC-200: 5 kW, 21×21 cm FPD, 1024×1024 matrix. SIMAD EMC I9L1 G and I9L1 P: 4 kW, 9-inch intensifier, 25 fps. SIMAD EMC F2L1 G: 4 kW, 22×22 cm FPD, 25 fps. All three SIMAD packages have fixed anodes; I9L1 P additionally lists CineLoop and dual-sequence review.
Selection criteria
Check receptor type and field, frame rate, generator power, anode heat capacity, arm movement and monitor placement. Imaging modes and licences must match the exact configuration; angiography on a promotional screen does not establish inclusion of that package.
Workplace preparation
Plan transport routes, table access, arm clearance, power and networking. Agree protection, commissioning and staff training separately. The ALC-200 IP68 rating applies to its foot switch.
