How to select
- Use and documentation. Laboratory samples and plasma storage may have different requirements. Establish whether medical-device status, data logging or validation is required.
- Net volume. Compare internal rather than gross volume and allow for shelves, containers, air gaps and future growth.
- Controls. Evermed LITE provides an LED display, alarms and a dry contact. ADVANCED adds a 7-inch touchscreen, data and event logs, USB and backup power for the display and alarms.
- Monitoring. Define requirements for dry contacts, external loggers, remote alerts and data export.
- Installation. Check dimensions, doorways, ventilation clearances, power supply and room temperature.
Evermed PDF and PDF MD are different ranges
Standard PDF is a laboratory range. PDF MD is Evermed’s separate medical-device range for plasma and cryoprecipitate. Regulatory or tender requirements must be confirmed for the supplied configuration.
