Delta T thermal packs for temperature-controlled transport
Get selection advice and a quotation
Delta T cold and heat accumulators are thermal packs for medical insulated bags, containers and cases. Coolant packs are used for chilled or frozen cargo, while heat packs support the corresponding positive temperature conditions. For transport of medicines, vaccines, laboratory reagents and biological materials, select the series according to the specific cargo requirements and a verified packing configuration. Select a temperature series, nominal volume and housing design in the catalogue. Each part number has its own dimensions, photograph and price or quotation option.
Please specify the permitted cargo temperature, journey duration and container model.
Choosing thermal packs for insulated bags and containers
Temperature / series
Start with the cargo requirements. The +4 °C, +18 °C, +22 °C and +37 °C series, sub-zero packs, ICE and Gel serve different temperature needs.
Pack volume
Choose a nominal volume from 170 ml to 3 L. Available volumes depend on the series. This is the thermal pack volume, not the usable capacity of the container.
Housing and dimensions
Compare standard, S and CFLT designs. Equal nominal volume does not mean equal dimensions: check the length, width and thickness in the product page.
Price and part number
Open the selected item and check the manufacturer part number and required quantity. Request a quotation for products without a published price.
Temperature series: comparison and selection
| Catalogue series | Selection guide | Manufacturer information |
|---|---|---|
| +4 °C | The manufacturer specifies +2…+8 °C; consider for cargo requiring that range. | Official page |
| +18 °C | The manufacturer specifies +15…+20 °C. | Official page |
| +22 °C | The manufacturer specifies +20…+24 °C. | Official page |
| +37 °C | The manufacturer specifies +36…+38 °C. | Official page |
| −12 °C −18 °C −21 °C −30 °C −50 °C |
Separate series for sub-zero temperatures. Select the specific series against cargo requirements and the performance of the complete system. | Official page |
| ICE | A separate cooling-pack series. Preparation and packing instructions depend on the chosen container. | Official page |
| Gel −2…0 °C | Gel packs; the manufacturer specifies −2…0 °C. | Official page |
The ranges shown are manufacturer data for the series, not a guarantee for every payload. Transport temperature and duration depend on the container, pack quantity, conditioning, payload and ambient conditions.
Preparation and container compatibility
Check the internal container dimensions, thermal-pack compartments and remaining payload space. Follow the instructions for the specific series and packing configuration for cooling or heating, conditioning time and pack placement. Do not apply one conditioning procedure to every temperature series.
For medicines, vaccines or biological materials, use a verified packing configuration appropriate to the specific cargo and route. Monitor the actual temperature with a data logger. A thermal pack alone does not establish the suitability of the complete shipping system.
Buy cold and heat packs in Ukraine
To buy cold or heat packs, select a part number from the catalogue or send the requirements for selection. A quotation requires the series, volume, housing design, quantity and delivery city. Price depends on the specific item; see its product page for the current price or quotation option. For Gel, also check the minimum order and packaging quantity. Documentation and delivery times are agreed in the quotation.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a cold pack and a heat pack?
They differ in operating temperature and conditioning. Cooling series are selected for chilled or frozen cargo; higher-temperature series support the corresponding positive temperature conditions. Start with the requirements of the payload.
Does the +4 °C series keep every payload at exactly +4 °C?
No. Delta T specifies a +2…+8 °C range for this series. Payload temperature and hold time must be verified for the complete packing system under defined conditions.
Can a standard pack be replaced with an S pack of the same volume?
Only after checking dimensions and the packing layout. Housing thickness and contact area may differ, so equal nominal volume does not ensure interchangeability.
How many hours does a pack maintain temperature?
There is no single hold time for a pack on its own. Selection requires the container model, number of packs, initial payload temperature and volume, ambient conditions and journey duration.
Are all packs reusable?
This depends on the part number. The manufacturer identifies some Gel designs as disposable. Check the product description, instructions and housing condition before use.
How do I find the correct size?
Filter by series and nominal volume, then by housing design. Check external dimensions and the part number on the product page. Volume in millilitres is not a substitute for a dimensional check.
