Sirius is a compact cabinet with 70/30 airflow, a 470 mm work depth and two front-access options: a 200 mm open working aperture or a front screen with arm ports. Minerva is a fully enclosed aerosol-tight cabinet with fixed front gloves and a side transfer air lock. Mars and Mars Pro are available in 900, 1200, 1500 and 1800 mm working widths. Mars B2 1200 is intended for processes that require all filtered air to be exhausted. Final pricing depends on configuration, installation and connection requirements.

Antech PuriFlow PF-A3, PF-A4, PF-A5 and PF-A6 are Class II Type A2 cabinets with 1000, 1300, 1600 and 1800 mm working widths.

Type A2 versus Type B2

Class II Type A2 Mars and Mars Pro cabinets use 70% recirculation and 30% filtered exhaust. They suit many routine microbiological processes when the protocol does not require 100% exhaust.

Class II Type B2 Mars B2 exhausts 100% of the filtered air and must be connected to an external exhaust system. Ventilation capacity, installation location and engineering conditions should be verified before ordering.

A biological safety cabinet is not the same as a clean-air laminar flow cabinet or a chemical fume hood. Their intended use, airflow patterns and protection functions differ, so selection should follow the risk assessment and laboratory protocol.
