Preparing the installation project
System comparison starts with the examination list and configuration required. Next, assess room layout, delivery access, floor loading, electrical supply, cooling and manufacturer site requirements. Agree modality-specific protection and safety provisions, PACS/RIS integration, commissioning and training separately. The project and documentation of the selected system determine the detailed requirements.

Configuration, pricing and procurement
For a quotation, specify the required configuration, number of instruments, installation city and services needed. Agree options, consumables, commissioning and staff familiarisation separately. Documentation, delivery times and warranty terms are specified in the quotation and contract. See the model page for its current price or quotation request option.
Questions before selection and procurement
Are CT and MRI interchangeable?
They are different imaging methods. The institution’s specialists define the equipment needed for its examinations; selecting a modality solely by system price is not appropriate.
Why can quotations for the same model differ?
Detectors or coils, software licences, workstations, accessories and implementation services affect the price. Compare quotations against the same specification.
Does the system price include room preparation?
The work scope is agreed separately. Distinguish equipment, design and construction work, building services, installation and commissioning in the request.
What should be checked for PACS/RIS integration?
Required exchange functions, supported DICOM services, worklists, compatibility with the existing system and licences. Include integration in the agreed implementation scope.
