Dewar vessels for liquid nitrogen are vacuum-insulated containers designed for routine liquid nitrogen storage and handling. Models differ in nominal volume, neck diameter, static holding time and the type of accessories that can be installed.
How to choose the right configuration
- select the usable volume and holding time for the expected LN₂ consumption;
- match the neck diameter to filling, sample access and evaporation requirements;
- confirm whether canisters, racks, roller bases, pumps or monitoring are required.
For biological sample storage, the internal organisation system and sample format should be checked separately from the vessel volume.
