Purpose and range
Steam sterilizers process compatible heat-resistant instruments. The catalogue includes benchtop Fomos Foster Plus 8, 12, 17 and 22 L models and Linea 22 L. Chamber volume, permitted load types and configuration must suit the practice workflow.
Types and differences
Linea 22L is Class N; the manufacturer lists Foster Plus 17L and 22L as Class B. Equal volume or a drying stage does not make these classes interchangeable. Compact models are called Foster Plus in the supplier list and Foster by the manufacturer; verify the revision in its documentation.
How to choose equipment
Start with the instrument list, sets required per shift and packaging needs. Then check permitted programs, usable chamber and tray dimensions, and cycle recording. Litres alone do not determine how many sets may be processed in a cycle.
Workstation requirements
Provide a level work surface, specified ventilation clearances and suitable electrical power. Feed water must meet the sterilizer instructions. Budget separately for a distiller, consumables, packaging and monitoring supplies.

Before ordering, record tray quantity, printer and USB provision, warranty terms, documentation and commissioning requirements. Do not assume that one variant has another variant’s configuration. Record the agreed scope in the supply specification.
