ICP-OES, also known as ICP-AES, measures elements through the light emitted by excited atoms and ions in an argon plasma. Applications include water, metals, geological materials, food raw materials and industrial solutions.

Selection criteria

• Target elements and required detection limits.
• Optical design, spectral coverage and plasma observation mode.
• Sequential or simultaneous spectral line measurement.
• Sample introduction compatibility with acids and saline matrices.
• Autosampler, cooling, argon and extraction.
