Raman spectroscopy of materials
Raman spectrometers examine substances through inelastic light scattering. Applications include compound identification and the analysis of crystalline phases, polymers, minerals and thin films. Coupling the spectrometer to a microscope enables measurements at selected sample locations and chemical mapping.
