Explosion-proof refrigerators and freezers (ATEX)

Explosion-proof refrigerators and freezers (ATEX) are intended for professional storage of flammable substances, reagents and laboratory materials under controlled temperature conditions.

The range includes +2…+20 °C refrigerators, laboratory freezers down to −25 °C, low-temperature −45 °C and −60 °C models, and ultra-low-temperature freezers down to −86 °C.

Vestfrost models provide internal ATEX protection for the storage compartment, marked CE II 3G nA IIB T6. This protection applies to the internal chamber; installation in an externally explosive atmosphere must be assessed separately.
