Dental handpiece maintenance units

Purpose and range

Handpiece maintenance units organize cleaning and lubrication for compatible dental instruments. Fomos Folub provides three connections and modes of different durations. Start selection with the practice’s handpiece inventory.

Types and differences

A lubrication station differs from an ultrasonic cleaner or autoclave. It maintains the internal mechanism of a compatible handpiece. An air purge helps remove residual lubricant after oil delivery.

How to choose equipment

Check connection types, adapters and the handpiece manufacturer’s lubricant requirements. Three positions are useful only when their fittings are compatible. Consider handpiece turnover and time between appointments.

Workstation requirements

Folub requires a 0.3–0.6 MPa air supply. Provide appropriate compressed-air quality, power and access to refill the 350 ml reservoir. Maintain the filter and remove residues according to its instructions.

Models and prices

Compare models and current prices per unit. Each product page lists supply-version specifications, configuration notes and the technical source. Final selection also considers compatibility and workstation demand.

Configuration and ordering

Specify the station, adapters, oil, filters and air source. A compressor is not automatically included. Maintenance and lubrication do not replace sterilization where the handpiece instructions require it.

Related equipment

Plan equipment around a coordinated workflow: preparation, use, maintenance, monitoring and storage. Check equipment and consumable compatibility at each stage. Related categories help build a practice specification.
