Breast milk refrigerators and freezers
EMSAS ANS refrigerators and refrigerator-freezers support organised breast milk storage in maternity hospitals, perinatal centres and milk banks. Numbered bottle positions, drawers, microprocessor controls, alarms and USB connectivity help organise stock and monitor conditions.
Refrigerated and frozen storage
ANS-E175 is a refrigerator with a +4 °C setpoint, four drawers and capacity for up to 80 bottles. ANS-D425 combines separate +4 °C and −20 °C compartments, each with three drawers and capacity for up to 60 bottles. Confirm usable capacity with the actual bottle format. The internal cabinet uses Cr-Ni 304 stainless steel; a thermal printer is an option.
Specify the complete solution
Assess daily turnover, required storage conditions, reserve capacity, traceability and monitoring. The facility’s milk-handling protocol determines storage limits and procedures. OSELY can confirm the execution, refrigerant, accessories, documentation and supply terms. See also breast milk and bottle warmers.
What to compare before ordering
| Criterion | What to verify |
|---|---|
| Storage conditions | Material requirements, permitted deviations and measurement conditions |
| Actual load | Usable volume, containers, shelves or baskets and reserve capacity |
| Monitoring | Alarms, logger, data export and independent sensor |
| Installation | Dimensions, ventilation clearances, room temperature and power |
Questions before selection and procurement
Is the temperature in the category name enough for selection?
No. Compare the specific model range with the documented storage requirements of each material. Storage duration is defined by the material documentation, not by the refrigerator or freezer name.
How should required capacity be assessed?
Count the actual containers and reserve stock, then check shelf or basket arrangements. Total volume, usable volume and package capacity are different measures.
What should be agreed for temperature monitoring?
Alarm functions, independent measurement, record format and the deviation response procedure. Include temperature mapping and qualification separately where required.
What is needed to compare quotations?
A technical specification and an equivalent equipment list for each option. Specify quantity, installation or use location, compatible accessories and documentation requirements. This supports comparison of the complete cost of the required solution.
Configuration and documentation
Record the exact model, version, standard equipment and optional items in the quotation. Request the manual and specification with the conditions under which performance figures are determined. Agree procurement documentation, availability, delivery, warranty and service work for the specific supply.
