An infusion fluid warmer controls the heating of fluid passing through compatible tubing. It complements the delivery system but does not replace the pump that sets the flow rate. How to select equipment
Identify the fluid, target temperature and operating flow, then verify the permitted combination in the device instructions. Assess tubing length and diameter, installation and backup power. A heater setpoint is not the same as fluid temperature at the patient: performance depends on flow, tubing length and operating conditions.
