Class I laboratory safety cabinets are designed to protect the operator and environment when handling powders, salts, airborne particles and chemicals. Inward airflow through the front aperture contains contaminants, while HEPA filtration cleans the air before it is exhausted.
LaboGene ScanLaf Jupiter range
Working widths of 900, 1200, 1500 and 1800 mm are available. Each model can be configured as Basic with HEPA filtration, with an additional carbon filter, or for connection to an external exhaust system.
Important limitation
Jupiter protects the operator and environment, but not the product. Unfiltered laboratory air enters the work area, so materials vulnerable to microbial contamination require a suitable Class II biological safety cabinet.
