HORIBA LabRAM Odyssey is a confocal Raman microscope for material composition and structure studies. Its 800 mm focal-length spectrometer supports Raman and photoluminescence within a 200–2200 nm achromatic optical range. Lasers, detectors, gratings and stage are selected for the samples; the full range does not imply one universal laser or detector.
Key benefits
- Achromatic optics cover UV–VIS–NIR without changing the optical design.
- The open-space microscope accommodates cryostats and large-travel stages.
- DuoScan provides optical mapping without moving the sample.
- SWIFT modes accelerate Raman mapping compared with sequential point acquisition.
- LabSpec 6 combines spectral acquisition, processing and specialist applications.
- Optional AFM, SEM and fibre-probe coupling extends the available research methods.
