SKU: inVia Qontor
Description

Renishaw inVia Qontor is a confocal Raman microscope for local chemical analysis and materials mapping. LiveTrack maintains focus in real time across uneven surfaces. The excitation laser, filters, objectives and scanning modes are selected for the samples and research objectives.

FOCUS TRACKINGLiveTrackReal-time tracking
LASER OPTIONS229–1064 nmSupported excitation wavelengths
STANDARD DETECTOR1024 × 256 pxOther detector options available

Key advantages

  • LiveTrack follows sample height during acquisition to support mapping of uneven surfaces.
  • Confocal optics isolate the signal from a local sample region for spatial analysis.
  • Automatic white-light/Raman switching simplifies the transition from viewing to spectral acquisition.
  • A multi-laser configuration supports excitation choices that account for sample fluorescence.
  • Internal standards and automated alignment support calibration and instrument checks.
  • WiRE combines acquisition control and spectral analysis; additional modes and modules depend on the licence.

Application and configuration

The system supports research on polymers, pharmaceutical materials, coatings, semiconductors and other samples suitable for Raman analysis. Specify the material, expected fluorescence, mapping area and spatial-resolution needs. The quotation must define the lasers, gratings, filters, objectives, detector, stage, PC and WiRE licences. Fibre probes, environmental cells, specialist modes and protective accessories are agreed separately. The limiting values in the table describe series capabilities and are not guaranteed simultaneously in every configuration. The official-brochure photo shows one inVia Qontor configuration.
