IMAX 8000 is a stationary digital radiography system with a U-arm and flat-panel detector. It supports general radiographic imaging in diagnostic, orthopaedic and hospital departments.
Design features
- A common U-arm maintains alignment between the X-ray source and detector.
- Positioning supports standing, seated and supine examinations with a suitable table or trolley.
- A digital workstation provides image acquisition and review.

Additional specifications
Generator output, detector model, radiolucent table and networking functions are defined in the agreed specification. The additional ID-RAD.DX radiologist workstation and IMAX 250 film printer are separate configuration extensions. Installation and room preparation depend on the project.
