LaboGene ScanLaf Mars B2 1200 is a Class II Type B2 biological safety cabinet with total exhaust. All air is HEPA-filtered and discharged outside, with no recirculation into the work chamber. The airflow scheme protects the operator, product and environment and is intended for microbiological work involving small quantities of volatile chemicals.

Exhaust requirements
Mars B2 1200 must be permanently connected to a dedicated external exhaust system. Its airflow capacity and available static pressure must be verified by an engineering calculation before ordering and installation. A Type B2 cabinet is not a fume cupboard and is not intended for unrestricted quantities of aggressive or volatile chemicals.
Options
300 mm front opening, double exhaust filter, UV light, standard support stand or electrically adjustable stand. The final configuration is agreed in the quotation.
