Monitored Dewar vessels add electronic supervision to cryogenic storage. Depending on the model, the system can monitor temperature, liquid nitrogen level and alarm conditions while retaining the basic benefits of vacuum-insulated storage.
How to choose the right configuration
- define which parameters must be monitored and recorded;
- compare sample organisation by canisters or racks;
- check alarm, data access, power supply and service requirements.
Monitoring supports operational control but does not replace validated procedures for filling, alarm response and sample handling.
