CryoEssence 35C or 47C: which model should you choose?
Both models use six round canisters of the same size and offer the same straw capacity. The 35C is more compact and lighter; the 47C adds 12 L of nitrogen and increases the rated static holding time from 97 to 131 days.

Applications and limitations
CryoEssence 35C is designed for monitored storage of biological samples in cryostraws in the liquid phase of nitrogen. Monitoring reduces the risk of an unnoticed deviation but does not replace routine LN₂ level checks or the laboratory’s standard operating procedures.
The actual refill interval depends on operating conditions, opening frequency and loading. The standard configuration is designed for 0.5 and 0.25 mL straws; other sample carriers require a separate compatible storage system. Wi-Fi/cloud, the backup battery and the roller base are not included in the standard configuration.

Does it refill nitrogen automatically?
CryoEssence monitors temperature and level but is filled manually. Automatic filling is not part of the standard configuration.
Is static holding time the refill interval?
No. It is a rated value under static conditions. Actual refill intervals depend on access frequency, load and operating conditions.
