Description

ICP-AES5000 is a laboratory ICP-OES spectrometer for elemental analysis of solutions. The sample enters the plasma as an aerosol, and the optical system measures emission from excited atoms and ions. It supports multi-element testing of water, process solutions and suitably prepared materials.

Application and configuration

System selection requires the target elements, sample matrix and expected concentrations. Solid materials require an appropriate dissolution or digestion method; this configuration is not intended for direct analysis of untreated solids. The supply specification defines the nebulizer, cooling system, autosampler and workstation. Consumables, calibration standards and laboratory preparation should be planned separately.
