TA Instruments Discovery TGA550 is a thermogravimetric analyzer for mass-loss, thermal-stability and composition studies. The dual-range Tru-Mass balance operates with a platinum-rhodium furnace. Hi-Res TGA and modulated TGA extend research-method capabilities.

Applications and configuration
For research thermal analysis of materials. The standard 150 °C/min limit applies to the platinum-rhodium furnace; the optional EGA furnace has different heating limits. FTIR/MS and external evolved-gas modules are not automatically included. The manufacturer image shows TGA550 with the optional 25-position autosampler. Specify furnace, pans, gases, computer, calibration, utilities and training. TGA5500 infrared-furnace specifications do not apply to this model. Request a quote.
