Description

Sundy SDTGA6000A is an automated macro-thermogravimetric analyzer for moisture and ash testing of coal, coke, solid biofuels and compatible materials. Its single-furnace system weighs samples during a programmed thermal cycle. Designed for batch fuel proximate analysis, it requires a method matched to the material and the property being measured.

Application and configuration

Agree the material, sample mass, thermal cycle, crucibles and test endpoint. The manufacturer offers optional volatile-matter determination within combined analysis; these results are not intended for arbitration. Loss-on-ignition and other applications require a suitable validated method. This fuel macro-analyzer should be assessed separately for other research tasks. The computer, software, gas connections, consumables and commissioning are specified in the supply agreement.
