Leica CM1950 DualEcoTec STANDARD is a cryostat microtome with independent chamber and specimen-head cooling for frozen section preparation. This card describes standard configuration 1491950STEU with UV-C and a Leica Premium blade holder. Vacuum extraction and motorized sectioning are not included in this version.

Application and configuration

STANDARD configuration 1491950STEU includes chamber and specimen cooling, UV-C and the Leica Premium blade holder. Vacuum extraction is available in VACUUM, while motorized sectioning is available in VACUUM/MOTOR; these versions are specified separately. The image illustrates the CM1950 DualEcoTec family and does not define the included options. Discs, blades, consumables, electrical version, documentation, commissioning and final price are defined in the quotation. UV-C is used according to the instructions together with the required cleaning.
