Description

Histo-Line MC5050 is a semi-automatic cryostat with a rotary microtome for preparing frozen tissue sections. A manual handwheel works with motorised specimen feed, touchscreen controls and a refrigerated chamber. Specifications below follow manufacturer manual V4.8.

Application and configuration

For histology laboratories processing frozen tissue. Section thickness and temperature should match the specimen and laboratory protocol. Specimen discs, blades, freezing medium and consumables are defined in the supply specification. Installation requires a suitable workspace, power supply and operator training. Confirm the package and electrical configuration against the supplied instrument manual.
