Description

ZEISS LSM 990 is a confocal system for fluorescence research on cells and tissues. Two independent galvanometric mirrors scan the specimen, while the spectral detector configuration is selected for the experiment. The system is not intended for therapeutic use, treatment or medical diagnostic evidence. The photograph shows a configuration with optional Lightfield 4D and a monitor.

Application and configuration

For multicolour fluorescence, optical sections and image series of cells and tissues. Specify fluorophores, specimen type, required channels and acquisition speed. Agree the stand, scan module, lasers, detectors, objectives, workstation, ZEN, installation and training in the supply specification. Airyscan 2, Lightfield 4D, NIR detection and other extensions are not automatically included. The photograph illustrates one equipment configuration.
