Description

ZEISS LSM 910 is a confocal laser scanning microscope for fluorescence research on cells and tissues. Optical sections and image series support analysis of specimen structure in three dimensions. Lasers, detectors and objectives are selected for the fluorophores and experimental method. The system is not intended for therapeutic use, treatment or medical diagnostic evidence.

Application and configuration

For cell cultures, fixed tissues and multicolour studies, specify labels, specimen thickness and acquisition speed first. The quotation defines the microscope stand, scanning module, lasers, detectors, objectives, workstation and ZEN licences. Airyscan 2, Lightfield 4D, incubation and specialist software modules are not automatically included. The photo illustrates one configuration.
