Erba ELAN 30s is an automated ELISA microstrip processor. It accommodates thirty 8-well strips and can combine up to six different assays in a run. Dispensing, incubation, washing and photometric reading are automated. This format suits small and medium laboratories running varied ELISA batches and seeking to reduce manual processing steps.

Application and configuration

The principal item is the ELAN 30s analyzer. The computer shown illustrates an operating configuration; its model, software, fluid containers, starter consumables and commissioning must be specified in the supply list. Third-party reagent compatibility requires protocol setup and validation, rather than strip-format compatibility alone.
