Description

Pharma Test PTWS 820D is an eight-position dissolution tester for tablets, capsules and other solid dosage forms. It combines a single stirring drive, a thermostatic water bath and a programmable motorized head lift. The base 8 × 1000 ml configuration uses manual sampling; automated sampling and analytical modules are specified separately.

Application and configuration

The instrument is used for pharmaceutical quality control and dissolution method development. This listing covers the base 8 × 1000 ml version with paddles and manual sampling. The EPE-820 motorized sampling manifold, ITM-820 medium-temperature monitoring, tablet magazine, pump, fraction collector and UV/VIS analysis are separate options. USP/EP method support depends on the selected tools and procedure. The manufacturer provides IQ/OQ documentation; on-site qualification and training are agreed in the quotation.
