Rigaku SmartLab SE is a multipurpose X-ray diffractometer with vertical θ–θ geometry for crystalline-material research. The described base configuration combines a 3 kW sealed tube and D/teX Ultra 250 silicon strip detector. Automatic alignment and Guidance assist measurement setup.
Key benefits
- Automatic optical alignment reduces manual setup.
- Guidance suggests settings and optics for the selected measurement.
- Component recognition helps verify the configuration before a run.
- CBO optics support switching between focusing and parallel-beam geometries.
- SmartLab Studio II combines measurement control and data processing.
- Optional HyPix-400 adds two-dimensional detection.

Applications and configuration
For powder phase analysis and, with suitable accessories, thin-film, texture or residual-stress studies. Specify the anode, optics, detector, sample holders, cooling, PC, analytical licences and installation. SAXS and variable-temperature work require the appropriate attachments. The photograph shows the system enclosure and does not define the option package. Request a quotation for the 3 kW base configuration or an explicitly agreed extension.
