Description

Bio-Rad CFX96 Touch is a 96-well quantitative real-time PCR system combining the CFX96 optical module with the C1000 Touch thermal cycler. It detects up to five targets per reaction and provides a dedicated FRET channel. A thermal gradient supports annealing optimisation, while touchscreen operation enables run setup at the instrument. This is the research-use-only version, distinct from CFX96 Dx and Deep Well systems.

Application and configuration

The offered system comprises the CFX96 Touch thermal cycler and optical module. The exact catalogue number and supply list must be specified because the base system and Starter Package differ. A PC, CFX Maestro licence, qbase+, reagents and consumables are not presented as guaranteed standard inclusions. Any clinical application requires a separate check of the instrument and assay intended use; RUO does not constitute IVD registration.
