Evermed MFC is a negative-temperature modular freezer room for high-volume storage of pharmaceutical raw materials, biological samples and other materials whose documentation requires frozen storage. Geometry, finish, refrigeration system and internal organisation are selected for the premises and technical brief.

MFC or MRC: selecting by temperature regime
MFC is intended for frozen storage from −5 to −20 °C. Where materials require positive-temperature storage, Evermed offers the MRC series operating from +2 to +12 °C. The final regime must follow the requirements of the specific product.

Application and limitations
The calculation requires target temperature, usable volume or internal dimensions, product type and turnover, room plan, ambient conditions, power supply and alarm, monitoring and redundancy requirements.
The −5 to −20 °C range does not imply automatic suitability for every medicine or biological material. Set point, permitted deviations and loading arrangement must follow the stored-material documentation and agreed technical brief.
