Evermed MRC is a positive-temperature modular cold room for high-volume storage of medicines, vaccines, biological samples and other temperature-sensitive materials. Geometry, finish, refrigeration system and internal organisation are selected for the premises and technical brief.

MRC or MFC: selecting by temperature regime

MRC is intended for positive-temperature storage from +2 to +12 °C. Where materials require frozen storage, Evermed offers the MFC series operating from −5 to −20 °C. The final regime must follow the requirements of the specific product.

Project configuration and limitations

The calculation requires target temperature, usable volume or internal dimensions, product type and turnover, room plan, ambient conditions, power supply and alarm, monitoring and redundancy requirements.

The +2 to +12 °C range does not imply automatic suitability for every medicine. Set point, permitted deviations and loading arrangement must follow the stored-material documentation and agreed technical brief.
