Medical refrigerator for blood storage EKN 25

EMSAS EKN 25 — a specialised refrigerator for controlled storage of donor blood bags in blood banks and transfusion departments. The 70 L chamber accommodates 25 bags of 450 mL; the operating range is +2…+8 °C, with a factory setpoint of +4 °C. The storage conditions and permitted storage period for each component are determined by the facility’s approved procedures.

EKN 25 is used for organised storage of donor blood bags in blood banks, hospitals and transfusion departments. Before commissioning, the user should verify temperature mapping, alarms, sensor calibration and compliance with local standard operating procedures.

The battery supports the digital controller and printer during a power outage; it does not power the compressor or provide backup cooling. A thermal printer, chart recorder, touchscreen, GSM/Wi-Fi and a voltage stabiliser/UPS are optional. Confirm the voltage, refrigerant and supplied configuration before ordering.
