BlueLine Bag 5L is a reusable insulated bag for transporting temperature-sensitive medical and laboratory materials. The insulated bag and preconditioned thermal elements work as a complete system: the configuration is selected for the required temperature, payload and journey duration.

*Up to 16 hours is a guideline for the BlueLine Bags series in the manufacturer’s brochure, with a suitable configuration and preconditioned thermal elements. Actual duration depends on the required temperature, payload, ambient temperature and opening of the bag. The configuration must be confirmed for the intended route before transport.

Protection from temperature changes
Insulation slows heat exchange with the surroundings. Thermal elements selected for the payload help maintain the required temperature during delivery.
Convenient to carry between locations
Carry handles and a shoulder strap provide a choice of carrying methods. The empty bag weighs 0.4 kg; the payload and thermal elements add further weight.
Documents travel with the payload
An external pocket holds accompanying documents, keeping them accessible when receiving and handing over the bag.
No power during transport
The passive system does not need a mains or vehicle power supply during transport. Thermal elements are conditioned in advance for the selected temperature range.
Designed for repeated use
The bag is reusable. The 5L model has a soft lining without a rigid plastic frame; clean it in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Configuration for your route
TempShells and TempFrames allow the payload space to be configured. For the 5L model, the manufacturer lists 2 pairs of TempShells or 1 pair of TempShells + 1 pair of TempFrames.

5 L is the nominal bag volume. Available payload space is reduced when thermal elements and frames are installed. Thermal elements are not included in the standard supply.
How to prepare the bag for transport
- Select the system. Confirm the required temperature, payload dimensions, journey duration and thermal element configuration.
- Condition the thermal elements. Follow the instructions for the selected temperature series. The same preparation method does not apply to every temperature range.
- Pack and close the bag. Follow the verified packing arrangement and add a temperature logger if required.
- Check after delivery. Review temperature records if a logger was used, and prepare the bag for its next use.
