LaboGene ScanLaf Fortuna Clean Bench 1200 is a vertical laminar flow cabinet for protecting non-hazardous samples, products and equipment from particles. HEPA-filtered air moves uniformly from top to bottom, while positive pressure in the work chamber reduces the ingress of contamination from the room.
Intended use and limitations
Fortuna Clean Bench is intended for work with materials that require a clean, particle-free environment, including media preparation, non-hazardous microbiology, electronics and PCR processes in a suitable configuration.
This is not a biological safety cabinet. It protects the product but does not protect the operator or environment from hazardous bioaerosols, toxic substances or volatile chemicals. Such work requires a suitable biological safety cabinet or fume cupboard.
Key features
- vertical laminar downflow of 0.32 ± 0.01 m/s;
- main HEPA filter rated at least H14 to EN 1822-1, with 99.999% efficiency at 0.3 µm;
- electrically operated front window with a 350 mm standard opening and 550 mm option;
- airflow monitoring and alarms outside safe operating parameters;
- one-piece AISI 304 stainless-steel worktop and trough;
- energy-efficient EC fans and Eco mode.
