Description

KERN OCM 166 is an inverted trinocular microscope for observing cell and tissue cultures in laboratory vessels. It combines bright field, phase contrast and HBO epi-fluorescence. A long-working-distance condenser provides space for culture vessels, while the photo port supports an optional imaging system.

Application and configuration

For cell- and tissue-culture research laboratories. Match filters to fluorophore spectra and holders to the dimensions of culture vessels. The base configuration includes the four listed objectives, eyepieces, a mechanical stage with holder, dust cover and instructions. A camera and C-mount adapter are selected separately and are not automatically included. The supply specification defines filters, accessories, installation and training.
