Agilent 7850 is a single-quadrupole ICP-MS for routine trace-element analysis. UHMI dilutes the aerosol with argon and supports matrices up to 25% total dissolved solids with a suitable method. The helium cell and half-mass correction reduce spectral interferences.
Key benefits
- UHMI reduces manual dilution requirements for high-solids samples.
- The helium cell reduces polyatomic overlaps.
- Half-mass correction accounts for doubly charged ion contributions.
- IntelliQuant provides an elemental profile for matrix assessment.
- OCF highlights results outside defined limits for efficient review.
- EMF helps schedule maintenance according to actual use.

Applications and configuration
For elemental analysis of environmental, food, pharmaceutical and industrial samples after appropriate preparation. Agree sample introduction, cone materials, gases, cooling, exhaust, autosampler, dilution equipment, computer, licences and installation. The 25% TDS capability is not a universal guarantee for every matrix. Specialist configurations, chromatography coupling and additional packages require an explicit specification. Price on request.
