TA Instruments Discovery DSC250 is a differential scanning calorimeter with a Fusion Cell and Tzero heat-flow measurement. Modulated DSC helps separate overlapping thermal events. Cooling and automation are selected for the temperature program and sample workload.
Key benefits
- Fusion Cell for DSC measurements.
- Tzero heat-flow measurement technology.
- Modulated DSC for complex transitions.
- On-instrument touchscreen interface.
- TRIOS software.
- Optional cooling systems and autosampler.

Applications and configuration
For polymers, chemicals and other compatible materials. The −180 to 725 °C envelope spans different cooling systems: LN2P reaches 550 °C, while FACS covers ambient to 725 °C. A single cooler does not cover all extremes. The image shows DSC250 without an autosampler; specify its inclusion and capacity separately. DSC2500 T4P and direct Cp capabilities are not claimed for DSC250. Confirm pans, cooling, computer, gases and training. Request a quote.
