Shimadzu DSC-60A Plus is a heat-flux differential scanning calorimeter with automated sample loading. It measures thermal effects from melting, crystallization and other material transitions. The A Plus version has a 24-sample tray; subambient measurements require appropriate cooling.
Key benefits
- Automatic sample changes in the A Plus version.
- Heat-flux DSC measurement.
- Low noise under datasheet conditions.
- Inert-gas or dry-air atmospheres.
- Cooling choices for the required temperature range.
- Temperature-modulated DSC is optional.

Applications and configuration
For materials research and quality control; not for diagnostic procedures. This is the autosampler-equipped DSC-60A Plus, not the manual DSC-60 Plus. The −140 to 600 °C range requires liquid nitrogen with the standard chamber. Optional TAC-60i and TAC-60L systems have their own temperature limits, distinct from the standard chamber specifications.
