Description

IKA HABITAT cell in the 2 l configuration combines a cell-culture control tower with the HABITAT cell sw 2 single-wall glass vessel package. The system controls mixing, temperature, gas supply and liquid addition while recording process parameters. The vessel, sensors and supporting equipment are specified together as a functional system.

Application and configuration

This listing covers a system configuration: control tower 0010007533 and vessel package 0010007648 are separate factory items. The sw 2 package includes the vessel, drive, impeller, sparger, sensors, heating blanket and connection accessories. Process conditions determine the operating fill; the 2 l designation does not imply the same working volume for every culture. Cooling, gas sources, additional sensors, perfusion equipment, software options and training are agreed separately. The image illustrates a system with auxiliary stands; the final supply is defined by the specification.
